TED Talks: Don’t talk about your goals

Ok, so I watched this video with great expectation, thinking that I was going to find something fresh and inovative to help my clients and followers really get moving with their goal setting.

Guess what? While I think this is an interesting proposition, I’m not sure exactly how effective it would really be in practice. I mean 179 people sample, a conclusive study doesn’t make. Sometimes, I think that it is necessary let people in on your goals and objectives so you have a support group or even someone to kick you in the butt. The only thing is, you have to keep in mind the actions you are taking at all times to get you to that goal.

Without concrete actions there is no achievement of goals.

Take a look at the video and let me know what you think.

Do you tell people about your goals?

Leave a comment and share with your friends.

Have a good one!

What a ridiculous premature conclusion! Work longer w/ less results=highly unmotivating! Accountability is King! #sayitloud
